Fedefarma, one of Spain’s leading pharmaceutical cooperatives with 7 distribution centres, over 3,000 pharmacies and more than 35,000 regularly stocked items, faced tight margins and heavy regulation that made inventory inefficiencies costly. To optimise stock across a huge product range and high daily order volume, Fedefarma engaged Slimstock and implemented its Slim4 inventory optimisation solution.

Slimstock deployed Slim4 as a fully automated, ERP‑integrated system (working with Fedefarma’s Axional/Deister platform) that lets a single planner manage 450,000 SKUs across 7 distribution centres, generates nightly orders and allows on‑the‑fly parameter changes.
