Distrivet, the leading distributor of veterinary products in Spain and Portugal, needed a better way to manage a fast-growing and highly complex inventory across 22,000 SKUs. To support its expansion and handle urgent deliveries, fragile medicines, refrigerated items, and large feed bags, Distrivet partnered with Slimstock and its Slim4 supply chain planning solution.

Slimstock implemented Slim4 to improve end-to-end planning, automate purchasing, and better control slow-moving and obsolete stock. The results were strong: service level rose from 83% to 99%, stock was reduced by 17% worth about €5 million, and stock days fell by 40%, while the purchasing team gained more time for value-added work.
