Cecauto, one of Spain’s leading auto parts distributors with 9 warehouses and over 150,000 references, faced urgent inventory challenges: high stock levels, many low‑turnover SKUs at risk of obsolescence, and the need to reduce inventory while improving service. To tackle this, Cecauto partnered with Slimstock and deployed its Slim4 inventory optimisation software.

Slimstock’s Slim4, integrated with Cecauto’s ERP, provided stronger demand forecasts, tighter assortment control, and improved purchasing and supplier negotiation tools. The implementation cut stock by more than €1 million, reduced inventory by 15% in the largest warehouses within six months, improved availability and turnover, and lowered obsolete stock—raising service levels and procurement efficiency.
