Bofrost Achieves a 95.4% Service Level and Reduces Excess Stock by 41%

Bofrost*, the Spanish frozen food retailer, needed to improve supply chain efficiency while maintaining a reliable cold chain across its network of 500 trucks and 35 centres serving more than 220,000 households. The company had been making ordering and planning decisions largely on intuition, which limited visibility, slowed responses, and created excess stock. Slimstock’s Slim4 supply planning solution was implemented to support end-to-end operational planning.

With Slimstock and Slim4, bofrost* moved to data-driven forecasting, centralized ordering, and better inventory visibility and assortment segmentation. Since April 2023, the company has raised service level to 95.4%, up 6.4 points, increased product availability to 92.7%, and cut excess stock by 41%, while also reducing waste and its carbon footprint.
