Kersey Valley, operator of the Spookywoods haunted attraction, needed a fast, reliable way to grow a VIP audience and drive last‑minute ticket sales during the Halloween season. They partnered with SlickText and used its SMS marketing service (opt‑in via text SPOOKY to 31996) to capture subscribers, promote grand‑opening and VIP offers, and coordinate with Facebook growth ads.
Using SlickText, Kersey Valley sent scarcity‑driven, time‑sensitive SMS offers and links to Eventbrite, growing the list from ~3,304 to over 5,100 subscribers. Results were immediate and measurable: an early campaign sold 94 tickets, a later promotion sold 150 tickets in 10 minutes and reached a 200‑buyer cap, and subsequent offers sold out in 8, 3, and 10 minutes — clearly increasing ticket velocity and conversion through SlickText.
