Kersey Valley, the multi‑attraction resort behind Spookywoods (laser tag, corn mazes, haunted attractions and zip‑lines across 60 acres), needed a reliable way to grow and engage a text‑messaging VIP audience to promote events and offers. They partnered with SlickText and adopted SlickText’s SMS marketing platform, including its contest feature, web widget and signage, to build a solid subscriber growth strategy.

SlickText implemented restroom signage, a website widget and a promoted Facebook campaign culminating in a 3‑in‑1 text‑to‑win/Share/Tag contest that used SlickText to collect opt‑ins and notify winners. The results were rapid and measurable: an initial launch produced 152 subscribers (7/14–7/16), Facebook promotions drove spikes of 447 and 436 new subscribers in single days, the campaign reached over 32,000 people with hundreds of shares (707 shown), and overall substantially expanded Kersey Valley’s VIP list and engagement—earning a strong endorsement from the Kersey Valley founder for SlickText.
