Greats, an ecommerce footwear retailer, needed a higher‑engagement channel than email to drive immediate purchases and early‑access sales. They teamed with SlickText and used SlickText’s SMS marketing software to build a text subscriber list and leverage SMS’s near‑99% open rates.

SlickText implemented website widgets and on‑site banners, a double opt‑in flow that delivered an immediate $10‑off first‑pair coupon, and MMS image‑rich blasts for product drops. The campaign captured 6,367 opt‑ins between Jul 9, 2014 and Apr 30, 2015 (including 638 in one 30‑day peak), produced rapid sellouts on early‑access releases, and delivered dramatically higher engagement than traditional email.
