Youth Pride Network launches an accessible Safe Space Map with Slick Design

The Youth Pride Network (YPN), a Western Australian LGBTIQA+ youth advocacy organization, faced the challenge of transforming its limited brochure website into a comprehensive, accessible digital platform for community resources and support. They engaged vendor Slick Design to deliver UI/UX, web design, and web development services to create a credible center for advocacy and a practical Safe Space Map.

Slick Design developed an accessible website with a flexible CMS and an interactive Safe Space Map that allows users to filter services by age, cost, and eligibility. The solution strengthened community engagement, improved external understanding of YPN's work, and led to the project being named a finalist in the 2025 Australian Web Awards.
