Easons.com, Ireland’s leading online bookstore with nearly 2 million products, needed a faster, more flexible and accurate search and navigation solution after its previous system proved difficult and time-consuming to manage. The challenge was to help shoppers find relevant products quickly across a vast catalogue while making site search easy to manage and optimize.

Eason implemented SLI Systems’ Learning Search, Learning Navigation and Rich Auto Complete, which learn from visitor behavior to surface more relevant results and dynamically build navigation pages. The changes drove strong results: 73% of online revenue now comes from site search users, 45% of visitors use site search, Rich Auto Complete is credited with 25% of site revenue and conversion rates increased as customers find products more quickly.
