Texas Operator worked with SLB to address slow, costly coiled tubing milling and cleanout operations after fracturing multistage wells in the Permian Basin’s Wolfcamp Formation. The operator needed a faster, lower-risk way to complete wells after previously spending up to 70 hours per well on CT milling and cleanout.

SLB recommended ReacXion Complete fully dissolvable frac plugs with bundled coiled tubing cleanout services. In five wells, 344 plugs were installed and 96% of CT milling was eliminated, with 330 plugs fully dissolving and average cleanout time reduced to 39 hours; overall CT operation time fell by 31 hours per well, saving 155 hours, or more than 6 days, across the project.
