SLB worked with a leading Venezuela oil field company that needed timely, accurate, and reliable multiphase measurements across a multiwell testing campaign with widely varying flow conditions. The operator’s wells ranged from 500 to 8,000 bbl/d of multiphase flow and 0.2 to 1 MMcf/d of gas, creating a challenge for accurate testing without a large, inefficient equipment footprint.

SLB recommended the dual-leg Diligens Spectra mobile multiphase production testing unit, which combines 19-mm and 40-mm Vx Spectra flowmeters on the same skid and allows quick switching between venturi sizes without mechanical reconfiguration. The solution streamlined the testing program, improved metrology and operational efficiency, simplified relocation and rigging, and delivered timely, accurate flow measurements across more than 15 wells.
