Spirit Energy Optimizes Norwegian Sea Well Test Enabled by Muzic Aeon Wireless Telemetry

Spirit Energy, one of Europe’s top independent exploration and production companies, needed real-time access to accurate pressure and temperature data from multiple downhole gauges during a high-temperature offshore well test in the Norwegian Sea. SLB addressed this challenge using Signature quartz gauges with Muzic Aeon wireless telemetry to capture and transmit high-frequency reservoir test data.

SLB deployed the wireless telemetry and gauge system to deliver real-time data from the seabed to the top of perforations, with secure sharing through InterACT to Spirit Energy’s offices and support from Schlumberger Remote Operations Center experts. The live data enabled quicklook well test interpretation, helped manage uncertainty, and optimized test operations and duration.
