Rosneft Tests 347 Wells Using Dual-Leg Diligens Spectra Mobile Multiphase Production Testing Unit

Rosneft worked with SLB to address the challenge of conducting a four-month mobile campaign to test multiphase production across multiple wells with extreme flowrate variability at the remote Vankor oil field in Eastern Siberia. The wells required accurate testing under harsh conditions, including high gas volume fraction, low temperatures, and variable fluid properties.

SLB deployed the Diligens Spectra mobile multiphase production testing unit with dual Vx Spectra flowmeters, allowing the team to select the optimal venturi size for each well and test up to three wells per day. Over the four-month campaign, SLB successfully tested 347 wells with no HSE or quality issues, while improving efficiency, reducing logistics, and supporting rapid rig-up and rig-down.
