Operator Reduces NPT and Extends Life of Hydraulic Fracturing Equipment

SLB worked with Large Fracturing Equipment Company, a Colorado operator facing rapid deterioration of hydraulic fracturing equipment due to uneven usage and poor return practices. The company needed a better way to manage its frac trees to reduce operational downtime and protect its equipment investment.

SLB implemented a property management system and replacement program to track, inspect, refurbish, and redeploy 120 frac trees worth more than USD 2.6 million. The solution improved visibility into equipment location and condition, reduced nonproductive time, and helped extend equipment life while minimizing financial losses from poor tracking and maintenance.
