AGIBA Optimizes Drilling with Real-Time Data
SLB worked with Agiba Petroleum, an Egyptian oil and gas operator, to improve drilling for challenging deep exploratory wells. Agiba needed faster, more precise drilling decisions, better collaboration and remote monitoring, and lower risk while making better use of existing resources.
SLB implemented real-time drilling services integrated with the Petrel E&P software platform and InterACT connectivity to stream and visualize live well data, support remote monitoring, and improve collaboration. The solution was deployed across seven exploratory wells and one development well, helping Agiba make faster and more confident decisions, improve drilling accuracy, and achieve time savings of up to 10% while reducing costs and enabling remote oversight by partners.
