The Warranty Group, a leading provider of extended warranty solutions, needed to create a single online platform for consumers to purchase protection plans and manage claims. They partnered with vendor Slalom to help build this consumer-facing site and learn how to effectively communicate with a retail audience.
Slalom implemented the solution, named ProtectionPlace, by developing a user-friendly website hosted on Heroku and integrated with Salesforce for backend business logic. The platform streamlined the entire warranty lifecycle, from getting a quote to tracking a claim, and was integrated with FedEx TechConnect for repairs. This gave The Warranty Group a new, comprehensive online sales channel and a significant competitive advantage in providing a best-in-class consumer experience.
