Slalom worked with The Walsh Group, a major construction company, to address the challenges of its complex, manual, and paper-based punch list process. This process was plagued by lengthy turnaround times, collaboration inefficiencies, and difficulties in managing data and communication across its large projects.

Slalom designed and built a two-part digital solution consisting of a touch-enabled Windows 8 mobile app and a complementary web application. This centralized system streamlined workflow by allowing on-site punch list creation with photo annotation and offline sync, while the web portal enabled easy task assignment and tracking for contractors. The solution resulted in a 20% reduction in both time-to-completion and manpower, transforming a process that once took weeks into one that is completed in days.
