Legacy Health, a Portland-based health system, wanted to empower its patients by providing better mobile access to their healthcare information and services. They partnered with the vendor Slalom to address this challenge and create a patient-focused digital solution.

Slalom designed and developed a full-featured mobile app for iOS and Android. The solution gave patients anywhere, anytime access to features like a provider directory, their medical records, a symptom checker, and emergency information. As a result, Legacy Health became the first in its city to offer such a robust app, and it saw a 75% year-over-year increase in mobile traffic to its services shortly before the app's launch.
