Slalom partnered with the Washington State Housing Finance Commission, a self-supporting state agency, which was struggling with significant database lag times and a lack of data visibility. These issues were hindering the agency's fast pace and ability to quickly review critical information for its housing and community programs.

To address this, Slalom first assessed the environment and recommended procuring a new system. The vendor then guided the development of an RFP and the selection process, which led to the implementation of a Salesforce.com solution named HomeBase. Slalom supported the implementation, helping to establish a new IT governance structure for more transparent collaboration across all divisions, ultimately enabling the Commission to develop more responsive policies and programs.
