KiwiHarvest, a New Zealand food rescue nonprofit, was struggling with paper-based processes and costly, fragmented technology that limited its ability to track operations and scale its impact. Slalom, using Salesforce, helped the organization modernize its systems so it could better serve families in need and support its hunger-fighting mission.

Slalom streamlined KiwiHarvest’s Salesforce setup, removed unnecessary tools, and consolidated systems to improve efficiency and provide reliable data for grants, donor outreach, and reporting. The impact was significant: KiwiHarvest added 2,100 donor pickups, rescued 6,600 kg more food, delivered 14,667 additional meals, and reduced 17,490 kg of carbon dioxide emissions, while freeing funds to hire a new driver and expand its reach.
