Case Study: Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities builds an inclusive five-year strategy with Slalom

A Slalom Case Study

Preview of the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities Case Study

Building an inclusive strategy to better serve families and kids

Slalom provided pro bono services to help Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (ARMHC) develop a new five-year strategic plan. The charity's challenge was to broaden its mission and extend its programs and services after a significant expansion of its capacity to house families of sick or injured children. The goal was to find new ways to support more families and align its board and broad constituency on key future initiatives.

Using its Stakeholder Alignment Map (SAM) process and a customized Slide Sort voting application, Slalom gathered and analyzed extensive feedback from ARMHC's diverse stakeholders. This democratic process uncovered critical insights, which were translated into a new strategic roadmap. As a result, ARMHC gained a unified and credible strategy with strong buy-in, empowering it to support families in bold new ways and ensuring the success of its new programs.
