Advocate Health Care, one of the nation's largest not-for-profit healthcare systems, needed to streamline its complex IT operations across 250+ care sites. With limited resources, their challenge was to gain better project visibility, standardize processes, and establish a lean project management office (PMO). They partnered with Slalom to find a solution.

Slalom partnered with Advocate to design and build a tailored set of standardized tools and a centralized Microsoft SharePoint repository. This provided the Field IT teams with new practices for project management and a shared view of all projects. As a result, Slalom helped Advocate establish a self-sufficient PMO that boosted operational efficiencies and led to widespread adoption of the new tools across the enterprise IS team.
