AvantStay, an elevated short‑term rental and hospitality brand, faced a scaling challenge as headcount surged from about 30 to 90 and then toward nearly 500 in months. Relying on Google Drive left them with duplicated SOPs, documents stuck in personal drives, permission bottlenecks, and difficulty finding the right information — so AvantStay turned to Slab’s knowledge‑management platform for a centralized, user‑friendly solution.

Slab implemented a simple, searchable knowledge base with templates, onboarding tools, and integrations with Slack and Google Drive, and helped roll it out company‑wide. As a result, Slab centralized documentation, virtually eliminated missing and duplicate information, put all new hires through Slab onboarding, reduced back‑and‑forth emails and handholding, and enabled teams to work asynchronously at scale.
