Hitachi Solutions and KUBOTA Systems partnered to improve factory visibility for Kubota’s Tsukuba plant by creating a unified, real-time view of global production. The challenge was to rapidly consolidate existing manufacturing data into an interactive monitoring system that could display production progress, alerts and line-level details without major changes to the shop‑floor databases.

They used SL’s RTView Core with its SQL (JDBC) adapter and RTView Builder to connect to existing databases and deliver a thin‑client web dashboard in only a couple of man‑months. The solution provides a Global Map and drill‑down Line Maps with live counters, alerts and equipment/profitability views, improving real‑time visibility, speeding decision‑making and reducing development and maintenance costs, with ongoing enhancements by KSI.
