Port-O-Call Hotel, the long‑standing "pink" hotel on Ocean City, NJ's boardwalk, was struggling with an outdated Property Management System and poor vendor support. In late 2016 management searched for a replacement that prioritized customer service and selected Skyware Hospitality Solutions, opting to implement Skyware’s Property Management system and complementary modules.
Skyware Hospitality Solutions consolidated Port-O-Call’s disparate systems (covering 100+ rooms, restaurant and meeting facilities), installed the base PMS in June 2017, and added an automatic booking engine interface to TripAdvisor with plans to deploy Skyware Point-of-Sale next. The conversion was smooth, staff were trained quickly, support was praised as “excellent,” and the hotel reports dramatically increased productivity and easier online reservations as measurable benefits.
