Nicolet High School - Customer Case Study

Nicolet High School (Nicolet Union School District, enrollment 1,122) needed a way to track student locations during new flex/resource periods that replaced traditional study halls so students could pursue personalized learning without sacrificing accountability. To meet that challenge, the school partnered with Skyward and implemented Positive Attendance from the Skyward Student Management Suite.

Skyward’s Positive Attendance lets students check in by PIN, ID swipe, barcode, or smartphone and automatically builds rosters with date/time stamps, removing manual attendance tasks and hall-pass administration. At Nicolet the system supports enrichment periods, can scan as many as 90 students at once in silent areas, gives administrators a real-time picture of student whereabouts for safety and intervention, and freed teachers to spend full periods on instruction — delivering measurable time savings and improved accountability with Skyward’s solution.
