New solution allows Cumberland Valley School District to enjoy self-paced training, integration, and customization

Cumberland Valley School District, a Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania district serving about 9,000 students, was held back by an outdated, non‑customizable student information system that lacked online forms and required intensive, hands‑on training. To modernize and centralize student data, the district selected Skyward’s Qmlativ Education Management System.

Skyward worked with the district over roughly two years to implement Qmlativ, using role‑based stakeholder groups, early access training, and the Qmlativ Professional Development Center for self‑paced learning. The solution gave Cumberland Valley extensive customization and interoperability (Qmlativ connects with more than 50 business partners and the district has integrated 18 systems to date), centralized student data, streamlined workflows, and reduced the need for one‑on‑one support.
