Jordan School District, a mega-district serving 75,000 students across 91 buildings, needed to replace a legacy enterprise system that no longer had vendor support. After a rigorous RFP and evaluation process, the district selected Skyward’s School Management System as the web-based solution to handle finance, human resources and student management for its entire user community.

Skyward led data conversion and project management, partnered with Jordan on extensive training (two to three sessions per day for three months) and delivered a customized School Based Activity Accounting (SBAA) module to manage school fees. The implementation beat the expected production schedule by about 15%, enabled a paperless payroll process, expanded Family and Student Access for unified parent/student logins, reduced IT support burden by empowering users with reporting tools, and allowed the district to change business processes without adding staff — all achieved with Skyward’s ongoing support.
