Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley-Big Rock CUSD #429), a 707-student district, struggled with an outdated student information system that caused delayed transcripts, poor parent portal functionality and limited communication. Already using Skyward’s School Business Suite, the district evaluated and selected Skyward’s Qmlativ platform and implemented the Qmlativ Student Management Suite in the 2017–2018 school year to meet curriculum-driven, student-focused goals.

Skyward’s Qmlativ provided Family Access transcripts, real-time grade visibility on any device, a message center for parent–teacher communication, customizable staff tiles and dashboards, plus training and self-service support through Skyward’s Professional Development Center and Help Center. As a result, Hinckley-Big Rock now delivers timely, accurate transcripts for admissions and scholarships, has improved college-and-career readiness, increased stakeholder engagement, and reports greater staff efficiency across the district.
