Glenbrook High School District 225, a north‑of‑Chicago district serving 5,151 students with 850 full‑time employees and a $134 million budget, needed to modernize its business office systems so it could better support student, parent, and staff experiences. The district had used Skyward’s SMS 2.0 ERP since 2012 but sought a more flexible, secure, and future‑ready platform to align business processes with district goals.

Glenbrook partnered with Skyward to pilot and then implement Qmlativ School Business Suite, exploring the sandbox, co‑developing a roadmap (Feb–Dec 2017) and going live in spring 2018. The Qmlativ rollout delivered faster data browsing, customizable workspaces, stronger reporting, and — critically — rebuilt security profiles and user access from the ground up, streamlining workflows and improving stakeholder experiences while allowing Glenbrook to help refine Skyward’s next‑generation solution.
