United Home Experts, a specialty construction company providing roofing, windows, doors, siding and painting services, needed better job-costing and profitability reporting than QuickBooks Online’s standard reports could provide. Their data stack consisted of QuickBooks Online, a small MySQL database, and Excel for analysis, and they needed a cost-effective way to pull QBO data into MySQL to build custom job-costing reports and commission calculations.
