Non-Profit Organization Uses Skyvia to Optimize Salesforce Costs and Implement Data Analytics System

Leading Non-Profit Organization, a global humanitarian non-profit, faced soaring Salesforce storage costs and performance issues as its Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud accumulated large volumes of historical data. To reduce costs and enable analytics, they chose Skyvia, using Skyvia Data Integration to replicate Salesforce and Marketing Cloud data to Amazon Redshift and Skyvia Connect to expose Redshift-based historical subsets as OData external objects to Salesforce.

Skyvia implemented nightly syncs of selected Salesforce objects (opportunity, contact, account, economic data) to Amazon Redshift and enabled Salesforce access to historical data via external objects, allowing the Leading Non-Profit Organization to keep only three years plus the current year in Salesforce and offload older data. With Skyvia, they optimized Salesforce storage costs, improved CRM performance, and established a BI-ready analytics system that combines historical and live data for reporting.
