Informatica Global Education Services delivers 20+ courses worldwide to customers, partners, and employees, but its on-site and custom-hosted training environments caused long, unpredictable provisioning times (8–16 hours), inaccessible labs, student confusion, rising support tickets, and an inability to scale or integrate with their LMS.

By moving training labs to Skytap Cloud and integrating with their LMS, Informatica enabled student self‑enrollment and rapid, on‑demand provisioning—labs become available in two to three minutes—while giving instructors robust controls and the ability to run multiple classes in parallel. The change improved customer and instructor experience, sped class launches, reduced support costs, and made scaling and product adoption much easier.
