Delphix, a cloud-based DataOps platform provider, needed to validate its x86-based software on a prospective customer’s IBM Power Systems environment running SUSE Linux in Microsoft Azure. On a tight timeline, Delphix lacked access to the required Power systems for regression testing and needed to prove its solution would work on the customer’s platform and meet SLAs.

Skytap on Azure provided the cloud-based IBM Power environment Delphix needed, with self-service provisioning and pay-as-you-go access. Within a week, Delphix stood up the environment, ran smoke tests and full regression testing, and confirmed its tools and platform worked as expected, helping move the sales opportunity forward and reducing the risk of losing the deal.
