Case Study: Clayton County Water Authority improves employee communications with Skykit

A Skykit Case Study

Preview of the Clayton County Water Authority Case Study

How Skykit improved Clayton County Water Authority employee communications with an easy-to-use digital signage content management system

Clayton County Water Authority, which serves more than a quarter of a million people and nearly 82,000 customer accounts in Clayton County, Georgia, had trouble communicating consistently with its nearly 400 employees across six treatment plants, maintenance sites, a warehouse and headquarters. An employee satisfaction survey found that management communications lacked content, consistency and accessibility. The authority turned to Skykit and its digital signage platform to help close those gaps.

Skykit provided a digital signage content management system and configured 30 monitors for headquarters, maintenance locations, the materials warehouse and treatment plants. CCWA now uses digital screens alongside email and a closed Facebook group to share real-time weather, news, announcements, rates, conservation tips and other content. The system was quickly embraced, and staff engagement was strong enough that a screen outage at a remote site was reported right away.
