Younode launches PULP from idea to app store with Skydea

Younode, a company based in Japan, wanted to revive the organic joy of music discovery that is often lost with algorithm-based streaming services. They partnered with the vendor Skydea to design and prototype a new music app called PULP, aiming to create a more serendipitous and community-driven experience for users.

Skydea worked closely with the Younode team to design the PULP mobile app from the ground up, including UX design, visual design with a vibrant light mode theme, and the creation of a friendly polar bear mascot. The solution involved building a visual prototype to test with real users. The PULP app was successfully launched and is now available on the App Store, with the Younode team reporting they were able to express themselves more clearly through the final product.
