United Card Services, Russia’s largest independent payment processing provider, was struggling to keep pace with a rapidly changing and highly distributed IT environment. As its network grew more complex, the security team found it increasingly difficult to quickly understand the state of the corporate information system and make informed risk decisions. UCS selected Skybox Security and its Skybox Security Suite after evaluating several options.

Skybox Security implemented the Skybox Security Suite to centralize network configuration analysis, model the corporate information system, and automate vulnerability analysis, path analysis, and network access optimization. The result was a new proactive security management approach, with more than 50% of network security workload automated, response times reduced significantly, and pilot deployment completed in under one month. Skybox Security also helped UCS establish technical requirements, documentation, training, tuning, and testing within two months.
