A Skillsoft Case Study
Fallon Health, a leading not-for-profit health plan in Massachusetts, needed a better way to deliver training and develop talent across a diverse workforce amid a changing business model. Employee surveys had flagged weaknesses in the performance evaluation process, and the company sought a scalable solution to improve engagement, learning and career pathways.
Partnering with SumTotal, Fallon launched SumTotal Learn—branded as “The U”—to centralize all formal and informal training (classroom, virtual and 400 Skillsoft courses) and to underpin new leadership programs for first-time managers through executive leaders. The rollout improved on-time manager evaluations to 90%, 64% of employees said automation boosted efficiency, and employee satisfaction rose 6%, while instant analytics helped leaders make faster, better-informed decisions.
