The University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) is a public university enrolling over 14,000 students. To provide structured, unified learning for faculty, staff and students, UNCW adopted SkillChoice™ Complete and then faced an urgent challenge: roll out a campus-wide compliance initiative to all faculty and staff within eight months while aligning the training with strategic campus programs.

UNCW’s Learning Systems team used Skillsoft Dialogue Design™ to build custom manager and faculty/staff courses and deployed them through Skillport®, enabling a full rollout without hiring additional staff in the eight-month timeframe. The solution was integrated with Blackboard and School of Nursing orientations, supported first‑year research and classroom instruction, used competency mapping to target courses by role, and resulted in 100% of staff completing “Unlawful Workplace Harassment” by year-end.
