A Skillsoft Case Study
Unisys, a global information technology company with more than 23,000 employees serving clients in 100+ countries, faced a sudden cut to its classroom-based executive education budget during the global economic crisis. The challenge was to continue delivering a world-class leadership program with fewer people and far less funding by growing management and leadership from within.
Unisys partnered with Skillsoft to build a virtual, personalized learning environment—curating content around Unisys’ leadership competencies and CEO’s three-year strategy, and inviting the top 200 leaders to engage, discuss application, and start meetings with Leadership Development Channel videos via the Leadership Advantage portal. The program scaled leadership development from first-line supervisors to executives, changed underlying belief systems about leadership, and delivered results fully aligned with business strategy at a fraction of the former cost.
