Sprint University, the L&D arm of Sprint—a large communications firm serving millions of customers—needed to better align targeted learning with rapidly changing business priorities. The team’s challenge was to identify performance gaps, deliver measurable and continuous talent improvement, and reliably measure content effectiveness to inform and re‑align program goals.
To address this, Sprint implemented the KnowledgeAdvisors measurement platform and Skillsoft’s Metrics That Matter™ SmartSheet evaluation, capturing learner feedback across five evaluation levels and aligning Skillsoft content to business needs. The initiative produced a 5× cost‑benefit over traditional classroom training, a 14% annual program improvement (more than three times the industry average), and about $90 in benefit for every $1 invested.
