Sensata Technologies, a global industrial-technology company with more than 21,000 employees, faced a complex compliance challenge: a sprawling set of global code-of-conduct and harassment-prevention requirements, evolving content in many languages, and a decentralized decision-making model that involved multiple business units. Assigning seven to 10 hours of compliance content to every employee at once overwhelmed learners and depressed completion rates, so Sensata needed a more structured, manageable approach.
Using Skillsoft’s compliance suite, Sensata broke courses into smaller, customizable modules, introduced a quarterly training cadence, and delivered content in 16 languages (with custom translations where needed). The program drove sustained results: completion rates rose to 99%, employees logged 85,654 training hours in 2022, TRIR fell about 44% and lost-day cases declined roughly 50%, while incident reporting and case-closure times improved—establishing a continuous, more effective compliance culture.
