PSAV, a global audiovisual and events provider serving more than 1,500 venues with 10,000+ employees, needed to scale training beyond instructor-led delivery and establish standardized career paths. The company sought an enterprise LMS to deliver cost-effective, consistent competency development and drive career-planning conversations across its workforce.

PSAV implemented SumTotal Learning Management populated with Skillsoft business, productivity, IT, safety and compliance content, defined 38 common competencies, and mapped training to close skill gaps (including GDPR compliance). The initiative tripled learning hours—raising average hours per person from 8 to 26—delivered 190,000 learning hours in 2017, and created a 60/40 blend of ILT to eLearning.
