Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, an upscale global brand with over 80 managed hotels across 23 countries, needed a unified learning strategy to close skill gaps and equip staff to meet the demands of their diverse roles. The L&D team partnered with XpertLearning to design a scalable, global online program that would preserve Mövenpick’s service standards while developing employees across locations.
XpertLearning and Skillsoft launched GROW, a leadership-focused learning initiative administered locally by a designated hotel contact, aligning Skillsoft courses with Mövenpick’s core behaviors and enabling personalized learning plans. The program later expanded to include technology and business content via Percipio; outcomes included 75% of registered users active learners (2018), 3,000 training hours completed, increased technology certifications, multilingual delivery, and the creation of champion teams for IT projects.
