Monash University’s eSolutions (supporting ~46,000 students and ~7,500 staff) faced a shift in its IT workforce from purely technical roles to broader business-facing functions, creating urgent needs in leadership, customer service and communication. As part of its I Contribute program, eSolutions engaged Skillsoft to help scale training for these priority areas while continuing core IT training.
Skillsoft’s flexible, cost‑effective online learning (including the ITPro collection) enabled a blended approach alongside three external providers to address leadership, customer service and business-facing skills. Results included reduced staff turnover with higher engagement, 56% of staff and 65% of managers reporting improved performance, plus a 10% increase in satisfaction and a 5% gain on the Improved Services Client Satisfaction survey.
