iomart, a Glasgow‑based, AIM‑listed provider of cloud services and managed hosting, operates UK data centres and international PoPs for major corporate customers. Facing a young, technical workforce, iomart wanted learning and development to be part of everyday work and to equip staff with the soft skills needed to improve customer engagement.
Skillsoft delivered a blended, self‑directed program—providing role‑tailored courses via Skillsoft Select and the Skillport 8 portal, five‑minute daily “Five @ 5:00” learning nuggets, and a 21‑day habit program managed through the New Habit Calendar. As a result, employees now engage with learning beyond mandatory plans, individual and team KPIs show improved motivation and performance, customer feedback has become more positive, and iomart’s reputation as a tech employer has strengthened.
