Hill International, a global leader in construction risk and project management with about 2,700 professionals across 50 offices, needed a talent strategy to support aggressive growth and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget amid a tight labor market. The company prioritized project management and compliance training to maintain industry standing and meet complex global regulatory expectations.

Hill launched Hill University using Skillsoft’s Compliance, Leadership, and Business Skills content, providing multilingual safety and ethics training, quarterly Legal Impacts and Compliance Shorts, and project management, Six Sigma, and leadership courses as part of its “Construct a Project Manager” program. As a result, employees reported improved decision-making—34% of 800 survey respondents said the ethics training helped them handle weekly ethical decisions—and the program strengthened Hill’s ability to meet client expectations and navigate global compliance.
