HII Partners with Skillsoft to Empower Project Managers with Essential Certification

HII, a leading U.S. shipbuilder and global defense provider, partnered with Skillsoft after its project managers asked for help earning the globally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) credential. HII wanted a practical, high‑engagement program that fit busy schedules and would increase certification readiness across its PM workforce.

Skillsoft delivered private, after‑hours PMP boot camps on its Percipio platform, with three cohorts, tailored learning journeys, application templates, SME review sessions, audit support, and ongoing check‑ins. The program trained 150 participants (139 remained active), helped 86 complete their PMP applications and pursue the exam, and produced 38 first‑time exam passers.
