Delta Dental, a not-for-profit dental insurance brand with a nationwide network, wanted to strengthen customer service across its many regional organizations. Delta Dental of California especially needed a modern learning approach for both new hires and incumbent agents, and partnered with Skillsoft to go beyond traditional roles-based training by addressing critical “power skills” such as communication, empathy, resilience, and agility.

By focusing on measurable development, Delta Dental improved customer interactions and company culture, helping Customer Advocates create more supportive relationships with callers while moving beyond simple Net Promoter Score tracking.
