CGI, one of the world's largest IT services firms, faced the challenge of rapidly and consistently training its 90,000 global employees on generative AI and its responsible use. The goal was to ensure the entire workforce could speak confidently about AI and align with the company's Responsible AI Framework to better serve clients. To address this, CGI partnered with the vendor Skillsoft.
Skillsoft provided curated AI modules, courses, and the Percipio platform, which CGI blended with its own content to create over 60 personalized learning journeys. This solution enabled CGI to launch a scalable, three-phase global training program. The results were significant: within 90 days, 70,000 employees participated, earning 140,000 completion badges, and 90% reported confidence in applying their learnings. Skillsoft recognized the program's impact by awarding CGI its "Program of the Year" honor.
